ACCESSORIES: Installation and Care

SAFELERT is small battery-powered sensing device that is easily-hidden inside your safe. When something happens to your safe (movement, heat rise, door opening, etc) it detects and sends alerts (via texts or emails) directly to you. ALERTS can be set up by through the following TRIGGER POINTS:

• Safe door opening and closing (know when others who have the combination are getting into your safe)
• Safe movement resulting from tampering (attempted break-ins, safe door jaring, movement of safe, etc)
• Rising and lowering of safe interior temperatures, both HOT and COLD levels
• Notification when your SAFELERT'S batteries are low and need to be replaced (batteries included)
• Hourly check's your wireless connection to make sure it's connected. If not it sends you an alert!

MONITORING FEES: SAFELERT powered by Elertus monitors your safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Service to the monitor the device, including hourly check-ins and weekly emails regarding your safe and wireless system at home, are available in the following price levels:

1. 3 YEARS - $39.95 a year
2. 2 YEARS - $49.95 a year
3. 1 YEAR - $59.95 a year

INTRODUCTORY OFFER: First month (28 days) of the monitoring fee is FREE. You will not be charged for the fee until after the introductory period.  

SET UP IS EASY. If you know how to use a web browser and read a text or email message, then you already know everything you need to set up the SAFELERT device.

HOW SAFELERT WORKS: Using an internet cloud service from elertus.com, along with your existing home or business Wi-Fi internet connection, cell phone, Smart phone and/or email inbox, SAFELERT monitors your safe and immediately sends you (and up to four other recipients) alerts when your safe's customizable thresholds-called "Trigger Points"-are reached.

ANTENNA: In most cases, SAFELERT will connect with your wireless router (Wi-Fi system) without an antenna attached. In some cases where the Wi-Fi reception is further away, Liberty has included an antenna to connect to the device to increase the reception distance. Simply connect to the device inside you safe and run the wire outside the safe door and stick to the top or side of your safe with the piece of Velcro provided. 

SAFELERT STICKER: Liberty also includes a SAFELERT WARNING STICKER. Place anywhere on the frame or door. It let's any would-be-theif or inquisitive relative know that they may get caught if they touch your safe!
